Plates for The Stratford Hotel & Brasserie

I’ve been working over the last year on a project for The Stratford, a 42 story new build in east London, with luxury hotel and 3 restaurants.

I was asked to design tableware for one of the restaurants and have collaborated with Head Chef of the Stratford Ben Harrington to develop dinnerware in bone china, made in Stoke on Trent, and also a collection of coloured tableware which we make in my studio. I also have work in Allegra Restaurant and the Brasserie within the build as well as the rooms.

The Stratford opened on 4th July 2019

The Stratford evokes the timeless glamour and maverick social spirit of New York’s legendary long-stay hotels. Set across the first seven levels of The Stratford, is a design hotel with a taste for the spectacular – from the magnificent triple-height lobby and Highline sky garden to the imposing glass atrium. The interiors, by Space Copenhagen, fuse Scandinavian style with old-world opulence via serene pastel tones, natural timbers and elegant stone bathrooms.
